A 25-year-old Carson City was arrested Nov. 24, 11:01 p.m. He faces felony warrant charges of domestic battery and failure to appear out of Del Norte Superior Court in California. Daniel Glenn is being held on $35,000. He was stopped doing 50 in a 35 mph zone while traveling northbound on Lompa Lane.
In other felony arrests:
A 49-year-old Carson City man faces a felony charge of possession of a controlled substance and three misdemeanor charges. James Henry Minor Jr. was arrested Nov. 22, 5:38 p.m. in the 1500 block of Airport Road.
Carson City Sheriff's Special Enforcement Team officers responded to the location for a report of people squatting in campers on the property. The response led to the arrests. In Minor's small camper was a trace amount of suspected methamphetamine in three baggies and a glass pipe used to smoke meth. His bail: $6,500.
In misdemeanor-related arrests:
— A 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested Nov. 25, 2:59 a.m. in the area of 5th and Carson River Road for suspicion of being in violation of his probation.
The man was stopped for not having a license plate on the front of his vehicle. Dispatched advised during the stop that the man was on probation with a no drinking clause. He blew a preliminary breath test of .94. Bail: $3,000.
— A Carson City woman was booked into jail Nov. 23, 11:15 p.m. on a misdemeanor charge of contempt of court, failure to appear to pay fines with a warrant issued Nov. 4, 2013 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,454.
— A 33-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Nov. 24, 12:30 a.m. in the 2000 block of East William Street. She was arrested on suspicion of DUI, obstructing, driving in an unregistered vehicle and having no proof of insurance.
According to the arrest report, the woman attempted to steal a vehicle off of a car lot that once was her vehicle but had been re-possessed by a finance company. The owner of the car lot, which had bought the vehicle from the finance company, declined to press charges for grand larceny.
Instead, officers arrested her for obstruction after she allegedly lied about the incident to officers. She also faces misdemeanor charges of driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without insurance and driving under the influence after providing a breath test of .116. Bail: $2,338.
— A 52-year-old Carson City man was arrested Nov. 22, 9:54 p.m. in the 200 block of East Park Street. He faces a misdemeanor warrant charge of being in violation of a suspended sentence. Bail: $3,000.
— A 28-year-old Carson City man as arrested for trespassing on Nov. 22, 11:45 p.m. in the 300 block of North Carson Street. Bail: $242.
— A 35-year-old Carson City man and a 36-year-old woman were arrested Nov. 23, 1:15 a.m. in the 1600 block of Brown Street. Pending misdemeanor charges for both include being arrested while on probation and allegedly being in possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail: $4,137 each. Also arrested was a 19-year-old man for suspicion of drug paraphernalia and being a minor in possession of alcohol. The trio were found allegedly drinking and smoking marijuana in a storage shed without having permission, according to the arrest report. Bail: $1,379.
— A 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 400 block of East Park Street at 7:45 p.m. on Nov. 23. He faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear in traffic court. Bail. $500.
— A 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested Nov. 23, 4:40 p.m. in the 1000 block of Armstrong Lane. he faces misdemeanor charges of domestic battery and being in violation of a suspended sentence. According to the arrest report, the man threw a fit while cleaning a fish tank, throwing water on his girlfriend then pushing her to the ground, which was slippery from the water. The woman sustained a laceration to the eye after falling to the floor. Bail: $4,132.
— A 29-year-old Carson City man was arrested Nov. 22, 9:55 p.m. in the 2700 block of Menlo. He was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery. The man allegedly hit his girlfriend after attempting to take her 4-Runner and then went to his mother's house where he was found. Bail: $3,132.
— A 51-year-old Carson City man was arrested Nov. 23, 10:46 a.m. in the 3300 block of Sunrise Drive. He faces a misdemeanor charge of being in violation of a restraining order. Bail: $1,137.
— A 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested Nov. 22, 10:50 p.m. in the 500 block of South Roop Street. He faces a misdemeanor charge of failure to appear in traffic court out of Lyon County. Bail: $734.
Those arrested and facing charges are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
