A couple arguing over the social networking site Facebook landed the pair in jail, each facing battery charges and one facing a child endangerment charge.
Deputies were dispatched to the 3500 block of Harrison on a domestic battery call. Dispatch advised officers the reporting victim was the 17-year-old daughter of a woman who was bleeding from the face.
When deputies arrived on April 22 they located the 38-year-old male suspect in the living room of the home. The couple are engaged and live together, according to the arrest report.
Officers saw that the woman, also 38, was bleeding from a cut over her left eyebrow. The woman stated to authorities that she and her boyfriend began to argue about Facebook, and the man grabbed the woman by the back of her waist and threw her "like trash" out of the front door. The woman told authorities that she hit her head on the pavement and woke up in the rain.
According to the arrest report, authorities smelled alcohol on the woman.
The man reported to authorities that when he arrived home, the woman was intoxicated, pushed and "head-butted" him. The man said that the woman "tripped" and hit her head.
The juvenile daughter reported to deputies that the woman jumped on the man's back to keep him from "hurting her" according to the arrest report. The juvenile stated that the man did the injury to the woman's forehead and then kicked her out of the house.
Both the man and woman were arrested. The man faces a domestic battery and child endangerment charge. His bail was set at $5,632. The woman faces a probation violation charge as well as domestic battery charge. Her bail was set at $4,132.
