A Carson City man faces multiple charges including felony drug possession and misdemeanor suspicion of driving under the influence, after being arrested late Thursday night during a traffic stop.
Isiah Treur, 32, was stopped at Fairview and the bypass at around 11:20 after officers observed him speeding and drifting across the fog line and failing to maintain his lane of traffic, according to the arrest report.
During the traffic stop the arresting officer saw that he was flushed and had red watery eyes. When asked if he had been drinking, he said he had previously had a "couple of drinks." Officers asked for his driver's license and he told them he did not have a valid one.
Four field sobriety tests were administered and Treur showed impairment on three of the tests, according to the arrest report. He told the arresting officer that he had smoked marijuana on Wednesday and that he had smoked methamphetamine earlier Thursday night.
He also told authorities that he had about a half a gram of meth in his car inside a Marlboro cigarette pack, and that officers were going to "find it anyways." Officers also found an open container of Sparks alcohol drink with about 1/3 of the beverage in it, according to the arrest report.
Treur was taken to jail and faces charges of drug possession, driving under the influence of drugs (second offense); open container, failure to maintain lanes and driving under a revoked license. Bail was set at $5,613.

A Carson City woman faces felony domestic battery charges after allegedly punching and threatening her sister.
Mary Ellen Baker, 40 is being held on $10,615 bail. The battery charges she faces are felonious because she has had two prior convictions of domestic battery.
According to the arrest report, officers were dispatched Monday to the 4000 block of Ponderosa Drive in reference to a domestic battery. Upon arrive authorities made contact with the victim who advised the officer she had been in an argument with her sister since Sunday. The victim advised that they had been driving and she was just recently kicked out of her Silver Springs home by her boyfriend.
The victim told the arresting officer that her sister became angry, stood up and began yelling at her. She said her sister punched her in the left arm and pushed her into a wall, The victim told the officer that she yelled at her sister to get out, which time, as she began to leave, she stated that she would kill her sister if she stepped out of her home. The sister told the officer she was scared for her safety knowing that her sibling is violent. The victim stated that Baker stood outside the front yard refusing to leave.
Officers observed bruises on the victim's left arm and rib cage area. Mary Baker was arrested and taken into custody. She was given a breath test after officers smelled alcohol on her, and she blew a preliminary breath test of .240 BAC. Baker had had two prior arrests for domestic violence in which she pled guilty.
— A Carson City man with a record as a convicted sex offender was arrested Monday after failing to tell authorities that he moved.
Zachary Andrew Applewhite was arrested Monday at an apartment in the 1500 block of Como Street. Bail was set at $7,500.
According to the arrest report, Applewhite had been cited by a deputy on Sunday for a traffic violation and gave authorities a different address than the one he had after he was convicted of statutory sexual seduction.
Detectives arrived at the home where Applewhite was living with his girlfriend and asked how long he had been a resident. He said he had been living there for a few months. He was advised that he had needed to have changed his address within 48 hours of him moving from his previous Pheasant Drive address.
He said he didn't know he was supposed to change it within the timeframe. Officers informed him that on the back of his registration card it clearly states that he has to check in with the sheriff's office within 48 hours of moving. He was arrested and taken into custody.
