A 34-year-old Carson City man is being held on $100,000 bail and faces a felony charge of rape. Juan Hugo Rodriguez-Ramirez was arrested Friday, March 29, 7:35 p.m. in the 1300 block of North Edmonds.
He is accused of sexually assaulting a female victim on March 29. The victim, whose age was not provided, also told authorities that she was sexually assaulted on March 26 in Pomona, Calif., and on one other occasion, according to the arrest report. The victim was interviewed by detectives at Carson Tahoe Hospital.
In an interview with the suspect, Rodriguez-Ramirez said that he did touch the victim on March 29, but denied having sexual intercourse with her, the arrest report states. He said they were watching adult movies.
The victim and her mother advised authorities they were concerned that Rodriguez-Ramirez would be bailed out from his family and then flee to Mexico. As of Monday afternoon he had not posted bail.

— A Carson City woman was arrested Sunday, March 31, 7:28 p.m. in the 3000 block of North Roop Street. Brandi Chapin, 39, faces a felony charge of DUI. She has two prior convictions.
According to the arrest report, officers were dispatched to the address, a convenience store, regarding a domestic dispute. On arrival officers observed Chapin yelling at a man in front of the main entrance to the gas station and convenience store.
Interviewed at the scene, the man told authorities that Chapin was his girlfriend and that they had been in an argument, which had gotten "heated" and so he walked to the gas station to get away from her, the report states.
The man advised that as he exited the main exit of the gas station, Chapin drove up in his vehicle, an Oldsmobile, and began to scream and yell at him. He advised officers that he got into the driver's seat and Chapin got into the passenger seat where she began pulling on the collar of his sweatshirt while yelling at him, the report states.
The man advised that he exited the car and Chapin then followed him around the parking lot screaming and yelling, the report states.
Officers spoke with the woman who had a strong odor of alcohol and red, watery eyes. The woman confirmed she was having an argument with her boyfriend, confirmed that he had left their residence on foot and said she was tired of having been abused by him in the past, saying he had, in the past pushed and hit her, the arrest report states. Officers observed no signs of abuse on the woman's body.
The woman also told officers she had arrived at the gas station where her boyfriend was being verbally abusive to her. She told officers she did not drive to the gas station and she had not had not consumed any alcohol Sunday, the report states.
Dispatch advised that both Chapin and her boyfriend were on probation with Alternative Sentencing. Dispatch also advised that both had a no-alcohol clause as part of their probation. Dispatch also advised Chapin did not have a valid driver's license because it was suspended for DUI. Both provided preliminary breath tests; his being a 000. and hers .160, the arrest report states.
The woman was cuffed and placed in the back of a patrol car. Officers were then approached by a woman who advised she was the person who called police, having observed the woman driving around the convenience store/gas station parking lot, yelling at the man, the arrest report states.
Officers then met with the managers of the gas station who allowed them to review video surveillance, which confirmed Chapin drove the car to the gas station.
At jail she declined to give a field sobriety test, saying she suffered from scoliosis, the report states. She resisted officers while getting a blood test from the phlebotomist, the report states.
Chapin has two prior DUI convictions in the past seven years. One on Dec. 31, 2011 in Carson City and the other on May 11, 2007 in Douglas County. She faces the felony charge of felony DUI (third offense), driving on a revoked license, and being in violation of her probation. Bail: $24,132.
— A 32-year-old Carson City man, in jail on local criminal charges, faces a felony charge of burglary and theft with a warrant out of Pershing County.
Rickey Edward Evanoff, was arrested for the charges on the warrant, issued on March 12, 2013 from Judge Karen Stephens, Pershing Lake Township Justice Court. Bail: $30,000.
— A 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested Saturday, March 30, 12:38 a.m. in the 3300 block of South Carson Street and faces a felony charge of parole and probation violation. Louis Hernandez, was arrested and faces the charge and also being a minor consuming alcohol, a misdemeanor. According to the arrest report, officers were called to the address regarding a noise complaint. On arrival, three subjects were standing outside, all appeared to have been drinking and young. The males advised they were guests of Hernandez who was having a "get together," the arrest report states.
Two males were identified, an 18-year-old and Hernandez who provided officers with a preliminary breath test of .112. Dispatched advised the man was on parole and probation with a no-alcohol clause. The 18-year-old was also on probation with a no-alcohol clause. Hernandez was being held without bail until a hearing for being in violation of probation.
— A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested Saturday, March 30, 3:17 at the intersection of Fifth and Stewart. Jose Jesus Elizando faces a felony charge of being in violation of bail conditions and a misdemeanor charge of permitting an unlicensed minor to drive.
According to the arrest report, officers stopped a vehicle because the driver looked young and the front passenger was not wearing a seatbelt, the arrest report states. The driver was the 14-year-old brother of Elizando.
The man did not have a valid driver's license because it had been revoked for driving a third time for DUI, according to the arrest report. He was being held without bail because of being in violation of probation conditions, a felony, for allowing the 14-year-old to drive.
