An 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested Sunday, 6:52 a.m. in the 3300 block of East Nye Lane on a misdemeanor charge of DUI and minor consuming alcohol, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
According to the arrest report, officers were called to the area regarding a suspicious vehicle. The suspect told deputies he had eight beers and pulled his car over to sleep.He consented to BAC tests and blew a .111 and .099. Bail: $1,379.
In other arrests, a 40-year-old Dayton woman was taken into custody at 1:50 a.m. Sunday, on a warrant service, failure to appear, issued Jan. 5, 2015 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $855.
— A 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested Saturday, 10:40 p.m., on a misdemeanor charge, DUI drugs. According to the arrest report, officers made a traffic stop on a vehicle that had a non-functioning headlight.
Officers could smell marijuana coming from the vehicle. The man agreed to standardized field sobriety tests in which he showed impairment on all the tests. The officer believed he was under the influence of marijuana while driving. He was arrested and a blood test was completed at the Carson City Jail. Bail: $1,137.
— A 42-year-old Carson City man was arrested Saturday, 1:55 p.m. in the area of Desatoya and Fairview on a misdemeanor warrant charge of unlawful dumping, issued Dec. 24, 2014 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $500.
— A 37-year-old Arkansas man, Joshua Allan Rainey, was booked into Carson City Jail Saturday, 4:40 a.m. on a felony charge of parole violation. He is being held without bail pending a hearing.
— A 36-year-old Medina, Ohio man, Randy Lee Bauman, was booked into Carson City Jail on a felony warrant for grand larceny, issued Dec. 31, 2014 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $25,000.
— A 24-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Saturday, 12:10 a.m. in the 2200 block of East Long Street on charges of second degree domestic battery and contempt of court. According to the arrest report, officers arrested the woman after she allegedly kicked her mother when she told her daughter to leave because she was on drugs. Bail: $5,637.
— A 25-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday, 5:49 p.m. in the 2200 block of Eastridge Lane on a probation violation warrant charge issued Jan. 21, 2015 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
— A 38-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Friday, 4:16 p.m. on a failure to appear traffic warrant issued July 10, 2014 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $215.
— A 28-year-old Carson City woman was booked into jail Friday, 4 p.m. on a criminal contempt court warrant issued out of Sparks Justice Court on Dec. 16, 2014. Bail: $525.
— A 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested Friday, 7:49 p.m. in the 3000 block of North Roop street on misdemeanor charges of petit larceny and minor consuming alcohol. A 27-year-old woman accomplice faces charges of petit larceny, contributing to the delinquency of a minor and contempt of court. The couple were arrested after allegedly stealing merchandise from Walmart. Bail for the 20-year-old: $594. Bail for the 27-year-old-woman: $1,474.
— A 21-year-old Incline Village woman was arrested Friday on a misdemeanor warrant for failing to complete counseling, issued Jan. 22, 2015 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,000
Those arrested and facing criminal charges are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
