A man was extradited Tuesday from California to Carson City to appear on a felony drug charge. Gary Lee Taylor, 35, faces a warrant charge of trafficking a schedule 1 drug.
The warrant was issued out of Carson City First Judicial Court. He is being held without bail on the warrant. Taylor also has a misdemeanor warrant for failure to appear in traffic court. Bail for that is $1,474.

Kelly Emerson Cotroneo was arrested at 10:58 p.m. in the area of North Plaza and East Ann streets. Carson City sheriff patrol officers observed the man driving in the number two lane of traffic abruptly turn into the number one lane without using a turn signal, according to the arrest report.
The vehicle then passed a vehicle that was traveling north in the number two lane and turned into the number two lane without a turn signal and then cut off the vehicle, nearly causing an accident at East Robinson and North Carson Street, the arrest report states.
The patrol officer initiated a traffic stop and could smell a strong odor of alcohol coming from the vehicle and the man. He attempted to to a series of standard field sobriety tests but was unable to perform them as demonstrated, the arrest report states.
He submitted to a preliminary breath test which was recorded above the legal limit. Cotroneo faces the misdemeanor charges of DUI, careless driving, no proof of insurance, and being in violation of alternative sentencing. Bail for the misdemeanor charges: $5,116. No bail for the felony parole and probation hold.
Those arrested and facing charges are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
