Joel Alcaraz-Gonzalez was presented with the warrant at 8:15 a.m. The warrant was issued through Carson City Justice Court on July 24, 2015. He is being held without bail pending a hearing. The warrant didn't specify if Gonzalez was in possession of a cell phone.

According to the arrest report, officers were dispatched at around 5 p.m. to the area for a domestic dispute.

A woman called dispatch and stated that a man was intoxicated, yelling at her and making threats. Deputies had been called to the residence earlier that morning where the man was being disruptive, the arrest report states.

Officers met with the man who appeared to be intoxicated. He admitted to drinking and yelling at his roommates and other people in the home about money and using profanity. He also was yelling at a neighbor across the way. The officer asked the man what was going on. The man told the officer that the sheriff needed to keep the deputy in line and that the deputy already knew what was going on. The deputy asked the man if he had been injured or battered. He said no, the arrest report states.

A woman at the residence said they had been drinking and the man became violent. She said there wasn’t a battery that happened but the man attempted to kick her. The officer asked her to explain. She said that prior to the deputy’s arrival she and the man were in the kitchen, he got close to her, raised his foot and kicked toward her. She confirmed she felt as though the man was trying to kick her, the arrest report states.
