Tradition, legacy and Native American culture will once again shine with brilliant colors and graceful dance Father's Day weekend in Carson City.
The annual Father's Day Powwow at Stewart Indian School draws a number of quality American Indian arts and crafts vendors, and is also a time for alumni, former employees and their families and friends to gather at the former campus at 5500 Snyder Avenue in Carson City.
The Powwow is also a fundraising event as part of an effort to establish the Stewart Indian Cultural Center. The event helps preserve the legacy and history of the Stewart Indian School from its inception to closure with displays of memorabilia, arts and crafts and items relative to the history of the school's past.

General Information:
— Free admission
— Dry camping is available in designated areas only (call for more information); if in an undesignated area, you will be asked to move
— No alcohol or drugs
— Food / Indian tacos (We will accept the first 4 completed and paid Indian taco vendor applications)
— Set up for shade tents begins Friday morning at 8 am (no exceptions)

Competition Dancing (must be in full regalia to accept award)

(raffle tickets must be sold with candidate receiving 10% of sales)
