Deputies arrested a 49-year-old Carson City woman on Monday in the 2800 block of Highway 50 East after she allegedly had a physical altercation with her mother over some artificial plants.
According to the arrest report, deputies also found some marijuana and a pipe inside the suspect's residence. She was arrested for misdemeanor domestic battery, misdemeanor possession of marijuana and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. Her bail was set at $4,600 plus fees.

Later Monday night, deputies arrested a 32-year-old Gardnerville man for allegedly throwing vodka into the eyes of his ex-girlfriend.
According to the arrest report, the suspect was engaged in a argument with this ex-girlfriend at an apartment complex on Hot Springs Road in front of some of her friends. The suspect was reported to be holding an open vodka bottle and according to the witnesses deliberately splashed a large amount of the vodka at them. The victim reported having to wash her eyes out because of the burning. The suspect left the scene but was found by deputies near the intersection of Carson and Ann streets. His blood alcohol level was reported to be .20. His bail was set at $3,000.

While checking out a report of trespassing early Monday morning, deputies took into custody a 22-year-old South Lake Tahoe man who had two outstanding misdemeanor failure to appear warrants for his arrest. He bail was set at $962.

A deputy initiated a traffic stop at Highway 50 and Saliman Road after seeing the driver of the vehicle that he knew to have an outstanding warrant. The 31-year-old Carson City man was arrested for violation of suspended sentence, and his bail was set at $3,000. A passenger in the vehicle, a 32-year-old Carson City woman, was also arrested for a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant. Her bail was set at $292.

A 19-year-old Gardnerville man was transported to Carson City Jail from Lyon County Monday afternoon on a misdemeanor failure to appear warrant. His bail was set at $1,133.
