A Reno man was booked Tuesday into Carson City Jail on a felony charge of probation violation. Timothy Ryan Gillenwater, 25, was stopped after a Carson City sheriff’s deputy observed the vehicle he was driving speeding 50 mph in a 40 mph zone and twice crossing the white travel lane divider, according to the arrest report.
Officers could smell a slight odor of alcohol from his breath and observed four opened and empty beer cans in the back seat of his vehicle, the arrest report states.
A check through dispatched advised the man was on parole and probation with a “no alcohol” clause and advised he be taken into custody based on being in violation of terms of probation.

— A 38-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday, 12:52 a.m. in the area of Longview Way and West Washington Street on a misdemeanor charge of possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail: $1,137.
— A 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday, 12:56 a.m. in the area of Gordonia and Monte Rosa on a misdemeanor warrant issued out of Reno Justice Court for failure to appear. Bail:$1,184.
— A 61-year-old Carson City woman was booked into jail July 29 on a warrant charge of disorderly conduct out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,000.
— A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested July 29, 12:47 p.m. in the 200 block of North Minnesota Street on two misdemeanor charges of violation of a temporary restraining order.
According to the arrest report the man had restraining orders placed on him by both his mother ad girlfriend. The two women were attending a treatment meeting when the man showed up. He asked his mom for a cigarette and asked his girlfriend to step outside with him.
The girlfriend agreed saying if she didn’t he would get mad. The man told officers he was aware of the restraining orders placed against him but thought they had already expired, the arrest report states. Bail: $2,274.
— A 27-year-old Reno man was booked July 29, 11:05 a.m. into Carson City Jail on a misdemeanor traffic warrant, failure to appear, issued July 17, 2014 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $215.
Those arrested and facing criminal charges are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
