A 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested early Tuesday morning and faces a felony charge of being in violation of conditions set in his parole and probation.
Brian Angel-Ramirez is being held without bail until a court hearing. According to the Carson City Sheriff's Office arrest report, deputies were sent to the area of Goni and Arrowhead at 11:31 p.m. in reference to a person passed out in the roadway.
When officers arrived they saw Angel-Ramirez unconscious and on the curb, and had a strong odor of alcohol on his breath. He would not wake up and paramedics were called, the arrest report states.
After he was put into the ambulance he woke up in which he submitted to a preliminary breath test which showed him to be .11. A computer check showed that he was under supervision of Nevada Parole and Probation, which requested that he be taken into custody.
Paramedics transported him to Carson Tahoe Hospital where he was cleared medically. He was taken into custody and booked into jail at 12:34 a.m.

— A Carson City jail inmate faces felony charges including battery by a prisoner and battery by strangulation.
Joey Augustin Garcia, 28, of Dayton faces the charges.
The victim told investigators that words were exchanged between the two and that's when Garcia allegedly wrapped his arms around the victim's neck causing him to drop to his knees, the arrest report states. The victim said he felt dizzy as if he was going to pass out.
The incident was reported on June 27 at 9:05 p.m. The arrest was made June 28 at 3:48 p.m.
— A Carson City man was arrested June 29, 3:18 a.m. at the intersection of East William and Oxoby Loop. He faces two gross misdemeanor charges of soliciting a minor, and a misdemeanor charge of soliciting an adult.
According to the arrest report, the 24-year-old man approached three females in the area of East William and Stewart streets and asked an inappropriate question soliciting oral sex in which the females said no and walked away, the arrest report states. A few minutes later the man drove up to the trio and held up a $10 bill and asked if any of them would do it for money. The females said no and walked away, the arrest report states.
The females observed deputies in the parking lot of 100 Telegraph Street and reported the incident. A traffic stop was conducted on the man. After the investigation was complete and a positive identification was made by the victim, the man was cuffed and taken to jail. Bail: $5,000.
— A 35-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday, 11:23 p.m. in the 1700 block of Hamilton Circle. He faces a misdemeanor charge of obstructing and resisting arrest.
Carson City Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched to the residence on a domestic dispute call. The man told officers he had been drinking most of the night and was upset because his girlfriend had died last month.
The man said he hadn't assaulted anyone and then began to pace near a vehicle, saying "f*** this" and "I don't give a f*** anymore." The officer attempted to calm the man down and walked him to the front door of the residence, the arrest report states.
The man then turned around and started to walk back to the vehicle, yelling. He was told to stop numerous times. As he got in front of the vehicle, he made his way toward the driver's side door, the report states.
An officer attempted to detain him for safety reasons. As the officer took hold of the man's right arm he pulled away and began resisting. He was told to stop resisting but the man kept fighting and would not give the officer his left arm. The arresting officer gained control of the man with the assistance of a second deputy.
He was placed into custody. Officers determined that there had not been a domestic battery. At jail the man was reported to be uncooperative. Bail: $607.
— A 52-year-old Carson City man was booked into jail early Tuesday morning on confirmed Carson City warrants and faces a charge of possession of less than an ounce of marijuana. During booking officers found a clear plastic lunch bag with marijuana. The man admitted it was his, the arrest report states. Bail: $737.
— A 19-year-old Carson City woman with an outstanding warrant turned herself into the Carson City Sheriff's Office on Monday. The warrant was for being in violation of a suspended sentence. Bail: $3,000.
— A 58-year-old Las Vegas man was booked into Carson City Jail on Monday with two misdemeanor warrants out of Carson City. Bail: $1,824.
— A 34-year-old Dayton man who had been jailed and was set for release, faces three misdemeanor charges out of Dayton Township Court in Lyon County. Warrants for his arrest include domestic battery 1 and 2, and disturbing the peace. The warrants were issued May 21, 2013. Bail: $1,500.
— A 29-year-old Carson City woman turned herself into Carson City Jail on June 29. She faces a contempt of court warrant charge, failure to appear. Bail; $500.
— A 24-year-old Carson City woman was arrested June 29 and faces charges including petit larceny and being in violation of probation. The arrest happened near Long and Russell streets at around 5 a.m.
According to the arrest report, officers were called to the 1800 block of East Long after a report came in that a male and female were attempting to take tires off a Subaru. When officers arrived the car was missing its front tires. The right rear tire had its lug nuts off and there were cinder blocks next to the car that appeared to be used to prop the car and remove the tires.
An unknown male was seen walking away and the victims were able to see the female and positively identified her. The woman initially denied knowledge of the stolen tires, claiming she met a man at the car because he was going to give her a ride to work. She stated she watched the man and he told her to leave when the victims came outside, the arrest report states. Bail: $3,250.
— A 54-year-old transient was arrested June 29 in the 4700 block of Highway 50 East. She faces a charge of petit larceny. The woman allegedly stole two tables from a center that helps the homeless and needy.
— A 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested in the 500 block of North Carson Street on June 29. He faces a misdemeanor charge of being an intoxicated pedestrian. The man had been kicked out of a bar and a casino and was yelling and cursing in the street. He was taken to jail and provided a preliminary breath test of .200. Bail: $237.
— A 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested June 29, 9:41 p.m. at the intersection of Gordon and Brown streets. He had a warrant for his arrest for contempt of court. Bail: $500.
— An 18-year-old man was arrested June 29, 11:27 p.m. in the area of Northgate and Arrowhead. He had a warrant for his arrest for contempt of court. He was a passenger in a vehicle that was stopped for speeding. Officers suspected he had been drinking because of his slurred speech and red eyes. A preliminary breath test indicated .209. The man said he had one beer. Bail: $742.
— A 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested June 30, 12:55 a.m. in the 1100 block of East William. He faces a charge of failure to appear on a traffic warrant. He was stopped by patrol officers for not having his headlights on.
— A 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested June 30, 3:13 a.m. in the 900 block of South Carson Street. He faces a charge of disorderly conduct and being in violation of his probation. The man was found passed out at a casino bar. A computer check through alternative sentencing had a "no alcohol" as part of conditions for probation. Bail: $3,237.
— A 46-year-old Carson City woman was arrested June 30, 7:15 p.m. in the 4000 block of Pheasant Drive. She faces a failure to appear warrant charge. Bail: $162.
— A 21-year-old Carson City woman was arrested June 30, 11:12 p.m. at Carson River Park. The woman was sitting at a picnic table with friends. The woman identified herself and a wants and warrant check came back showing she had a warrant issued for her arrest on June 25.
Those arrested and facing charges are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
