A 34-year-old Zephyr Cove man was arrested Monday in Carson City and faces a felony third-time DUI charge.
Blake Paul Bertram was arrested at 8:15 a.m. in the 1200 block of North Carson Street. According to a Carson City sheriff's deputy report, dispatch was called regarding a man driving drunk northbound on Carson Street.
The vehicle, a white GMC Sierra, was stopped in a parking lot by an officer, while another deputy spoke with several witnesses who observed Bertram driving and allegedly throwing beer bottles out the window, the arrest report states.
Officers conducted a records check on Bertram with dispatch who informed them that he had two active, confirmed warrants out of Douglas County and that his California driver's license was suspended/revolked for DUI from March 2007 to present, the arrest report states.
A Standardized Field Sobriety Test was conducted on Bertram who showed signs of impairment on all tests. Bertram informed officers that he was on several prescription medications, according to the arrest report. He gave a breath sample with a result under the legal limit of .08 breath alcohol content, according to the arrest report.
The man was also driving on a suspended license out of California. Officers arrested him for the active warrants, and DUI 3rd offense (drugs). The man agreed to submit a blood test and at 9:39 a.m. Blood was drawn from his right arm at the Carson City Sheriff's Office pre-booking area by a lab assistant. He faces the felony DUI charge and three misdemeanor charges including two failure to appear warrants and driving under a suspended/revoked license. Bail: $25,977.

— A Carson City woman was arrested Tuesday morning, 12:36 a.m. in the 3300 block of Selby. She faces two misdemeanor warrant charges of failure to appear out of Reno Township. Officers were called to the residence regarding a fight inside. Two males were fighting in the residence. Identification was collected by those inside and that is when the warrants for the woman were discovered. Bail: $986.
— A 28-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Aug. 26, in the 5000 block of Highway 50 for a failure to appear traffic warrant. Bail: $212.
— A 19-year-old Gardnerville man was booked into Carson City Jail on Aug. 26, 3:32 p.m. for a contempt of court warrant. Bail: $500.
— A 75-year-old transient woman was arrested in the 200 block of West Winnie Lane on Aug. 26, 3:34 p.m. She faces a disorderly conduct charge after she was found sleeping on the sidewalk in front of a business.
According to the arrest report, officers had made several contacts with the woman that day and was heavily intoxicated, according to the arrest report. When she was found she had an empty bottle of alcohol under her body, according to the arrest report. She submitted to a preliminary breath test with a result of a .251. Bail: $192.
Those arrested and facing charges are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
