Carson City Sheriff's deputies arrested the following individuals for felony allegations over the weekend:
- Kenneth H. Barksdale, 50, a Carson City resident, at around 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Barksdale was arrested for domestic battery/strangulation of his ex-girlfriend, as well as the misdemeanor allegation of violation of court sentencing. Bail has been set at $10,500 plus administrative fees.
- Tyler James Lewallen, 19, of unknown origin, just before midnight Saturday for a probation violation. Lewallen was also arrested for a misdemeanor allegation of minor consumption of alcohol. No bail has been set.
- Jonathan Michael Schaff, 21, a Gresham, Ore. resident, at around 6 p.m. Friday. Schaff was arrested for a probation violation. No bail has been set.
Officers also made the following arrests based on misdemeanor allegations:
- A 21-year-old Carson City man for first-offense domestic battery and possession of drug paraphernalia.
- A 27-year-old Carson City man for two contempt of court warrants in his name and bicycle lamps required.
- A 21-year-old Carson City man for disorderly conduct, seat belt required, and an alternative sentencing violation.
- A 38-year-old transient man for two violation of a suspended sentence warrants in his name.
- A 49-year-old transient man for failure to register as an ex-felon.
- A 27-year-old Carson City man for three misdemeanor warrants in his name.
- A 27-year-old Carson City man for a contempt of court warrant in his name.
- A 45-year-old Carson City man for a failure to appear traffic warrant in his name.
- A 23-year-old woman of unknown origin for a failure to appear traffic warrant in her name, as well as not possessing current proof of insurance and speeding 1 to 10 mph over the posted limit.
- A 19-year-old Carson City man for violation of pretrial conditions and minor consumption of alcohol.
- A 46-year-old Carson City man for first-offense domestic battery.
- A 21-year-old Carson City man for disorderly conduct.
- A 31-year-old Carson City woman for obstructing a peace officer.
- A 21-year-old Carson City man for obstructing a peace officer, second-offense domestic battery, and two violations of a suspended sentence.
All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty.
