A 22-year-old Dayton woman was arrested Wednesday at a South Carson Street supermarket on suspicion of stealing two bottles of liquor, a Carson City Sheriff's Office deputy said.
According to the arrest report, officers were called to a Raley's store and met with a security employee who said he watched video surveillance of the woman placing two bottles of liquor in her purse and then leave the store.
The security officer met with the woman and brought her back inside where he recovered the alcohol and called the sheriff's office. She was arrested at 4:29 p.m. on a charge of petit larceny. The grocery store asset protection officer filled out a statement and a citizen's arrest was made. Bail: $352.
In other arrests:
— A 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday, 2:15 p.m., in the 1100 block of East William Street on a failure to appear warrant issued May 28, 2014 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,000.
— A 28-year-old Winnemucca woman was booked Tuesday into Carson City Jail on a misdemeanor contempt of court charge. The arrest stems from a May 15, 2014 warrant issued out of Carson City Justice Court for failure to appear. Bail: $2,500.
Those arrested and facing charges are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
