A Carson City woman faces a felony charge of battery with a deadly weapon after allegedly backing her vehicle into her boyfriend and dragging him for two blocks as he held on.
Donna Marie Mireless, 41, is being held on $30,000 bail. During a dispute with her fiance of two years, Mireless attempted to leave and backed her vehicle out of the driveway and into her boyfriend, the arrest report stated.
The man clung to the vehicle and was dragged approximately two blocks before falling off and was run over by the left rear wheel, the report stated. The victim sustained a possible broken leg and severe trauma to his left foot, the report stated. The woman, who reportedly works for the Carson City School District, was taken into custody in the 600 block of Hot Springs Road after she called the Carson City Sheriff's Office.

— A Carson City man faces a felony home invasion charge after being arrested at Nevada and Musser streets at about 3 a.m. Sunday morning.
Robert Lyons, 46, allegedly kicked in a door at a home in the 1100 block of Nevada Street.
According to the arrest report, a man at the address was reportedly sleeping on the couch when Lyons reportedly broke the door, pulled the man off the couch and drug him out of the house. Lyons faces the home invasion charge and a charge of being in violation of a suspended sentence. Bail was set at $25,000.
— A pair who were both intoxicated were arrested after a domestic dispute in which a man punched his girlfriend repeatedly in the face in front of their 3 year old child.
Fred Lee Elvin, 28, and Adrienne McNoise each face a gross misdemeanor charge of abuse or neglect of a child. Elvin faces an additional misdemeanor domestic battery charge.
According to the arrest report, officers responded to the 100 block of South Harbin Street at about 1:40 a.m. Saturday and observed Elvin punch McNoise three times and telling her "you're not going anywhere, b****." The couple were both intoxicated and the incident happened inside of a car where the child was in the back seat, the report stated.
The woman, who denied having been hit by her boyfriend, had two outstanding warrants for her arrest through Carson City Justice Court. Neither were in any condition to care for their child, the arrest report stated.
— A man who admitted to having drank a large quantity of alcohol, was arrested Sunday and faces a gross misdemeanor charge of repeatedly calling 911 dispatch and hanging up.
Lawrence Curtis Alexander, 39, is in jail on $2,500 bail. According to the arrest report, the man said he wanted to get the attention of the police and that that's why he called. He said he called 911 "Nine f****** times and no one came."
Authorities arrived at the home and found Alexander to be belligerent when questioned about the 911 hang up calls, the arrest report stated. He also faces a misdemeanor charge of resisting arrest. Bail is set at $2,907
— A Reno man faces felony charges of forgery, obtaining money under false pretenses and burglary.
Miguel Padilla, 23, was arrested in the 500 block of North Carson Street on Saturday at about 10 p.m. The charges are based on a felony warrant for his arrest out of Carson City Justice Court.
— Carson City officers arrested a 30-year-old man on misdemeanor charges of resisting arrest and domestic battery on Saturday in the 300 block of Orvada. The man had to be subdued by a taser after he fought with officers, who were called to the home on a report of domestic battery. Apparently the man punched his brother-in-law in the face.
