A 52-year-old Bryan Circle man was arrested Thursday on a felony warrant charge of lewdness with a child under the age of 14, according to the Carson City Sheriff's Office.
John Andrew Zglinski was taken into at 10:39 a.m. after deputies arrived at his home to serve him the warrant, issued April 28, 2014 out of Carson City Justice Court. When deputies arrived, the door to Zglinski's home was open and he walked outside, according to the arrest report. Bail was set at $150,000.
In other arrests:
— A 54-year-old Reno man, Michael Jones, was booked Wednesday into Carson City Jail on six felony warrant charges of burglary and forgery. The warrants were issued April 5, 2013 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail $15,000.
— A 26-year-old Dayton woman, Shayna Louise Lott, was arrested April 29, 7:20 p.m. at Highway 50 and Lompa Lane on a felony charge of parole and probation violation. She was being held without bail until a hearing before a judge.
— A 47-year-old Carson City woman turned herself into Carson City Jail authorities Thursday, 5:20 p.m. The woman had a contempt of court warrant for her arrest issued April 25, 2014 out of Carson City Justice Court. The warrant was for being in violation of pre-trial supervision, refusing a drug test. Bail: $3,000.
— A 22-year-old Dayton woman was booked into jail Thursday, 1:37 p.m. on a warrant issued for her arrest Jan. 14, 2014 out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $3,000.
— A 29-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Wednesday, 9:20 p.m. at the intersection of Sage and Hot Springs Road on a warrant charge of being in violation of a suspended sentence, issued April 23, 2014 out of Carson City Justice Court. The woman was arrested after a vehicle she was a passenger in was stopped because it did not have a license plate. A check with dispatch found the woman to have the outstanding warrant. Bail: $1,000.
— A 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested Wednesday in the 3700 block of North Carson Street on suspicion of being in violation of a suspended sentence. He was on Alternative Sentencing with a "no alcohol" clause and was found to be at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center intoxicated. Bail: $1,000.
— A 24-year-old Sun Valley man was booked into Carson City Jail Wednesday on a warrant for violation of conditions, issued April 10, 2014. Bail: $3,000.
Those arrested and facing criminal charges are innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
