A Carson City man turned himself into Carson City Sheriff's Office authorities on Monday for a felony warrant of fraudulent use of a credit card.
Jeffrey Aguisanda, 30, had a warrant for his arrest out of Carson City Justice Court issued on August 9. Bail; $3,000.
In other arrests, Angela Rebecca Bowman of Mound House was booked into Carson City Jail on Monday. She faces two felonies charges that were under warrants: Failure to appear in court and violation of probation.
— A Fernley man was arrested in the 400 block of Hot Springs Road early Tuesday morning. He faces charges of failure to maintain lanes and DUI drugs. Officers were dispatched after the man attempted to take items from Walmart on Market Street, according to the police report.
The man was seen leaving the store and was followed by Carson City patrol officers, who saw him drive out of the driving lane three times and twice crossing a solid yellow line.
The man was stopped and didn't have alcohol on his breath but had extremely thick, slurred speech, according to the arrest report. The man agreed to a field sobriety test in which he failed the tests. He was arrested at 3:34 a.m. and later said at the detention center that he had a prescriptions for Percocet tens and Clozapan, and stated he had taken both drugs earlier in the evening. Bail: $1,224.
— A Carson City Sheriff's patrol officer, doing routine checks in the 3600 block of Goni Road, ran a plate that came back to a 22-year-old man, a transient, who had a contempt of court warrant for his arrest. The warrant was issued Aug 6 out of Carson City Justice Court. The man was arrested on Tuesday, Aug. 13, 12:08 a.m. Bail: $1,134.
— A 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, in the 1100 block of South Carson Street. He was arrested for being in violation of a suspended sentence. He had a warrant for his arrest from Carson City Justice Court on Jan. 10, 2013. Officers were called to the location in reference to a report of a verbal dispute between a man and a woman. Bail: $1,000.
— A 36-year-old Carson City woman was arrested Monday, 10:10 p.m. in the 1100 block of East William. She faces a misdemeanor charge of being in contempt of a warrant for her arrest out of Carson City Justice Court. Bail: $1,000.
— A 43-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday, Aug. 12, 9:52 p.m., for being in violation of a protection order issued out of Polk County, Iowa. Bail: $2,500.
Those arrested and facing charges are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
