A 32-year-old Carson City man faces misdemeanor charges of being in violation of a suspended sentence and possessing drug paraphernalia after he was found by deputies early Tuesday hiding in a garbage can.
The man was arrested at 5:39 a.m. in the 4000 block of Pheasant Drive. According to the arrest report, officers responded to the area in reference to an unwanted subject. On arrival officers made contact with a woman who stated that she let her ex-roommate move back in with her.
She told officers that the man was not supposed to drink alcohol and was highly intoxicated. Dispatch advised the man is on Alternative Sentencing with a no-contact clause with the woman and no alcohol use, the arrest report states.
Visible from the hallway officers saw a glass pipe on the floor next to the man's bed and retrieved it. Officers found the man hiding in a large trash can in the garage of the residence. He was arrested and faces misdemeanor charges of being in violation of a suspended sentence and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail: $2,137.

— A 27-year-old Las Vegas man was booked into the Carson City Jail on Monday, 1 p.m. on confirmed warrants for his arrest. He had been in the custody of the State of Nevada Department of Corrections prior to being transported to the Carson City Jail.
The arrest warrant, dated July 21, 2010, was on a criminal complaint for possession of stolen property with a value of less than $250, and false pretenses to obtain money less than $250. Bail: $1,000.
— A 33-year-old Carson City woman turned herself in Monday, 10:50 a.m. to the Carson City Sheriff's Office after having two misdemeanor warrants for her arrest. The warrants were dated Feb. 25, 2013 for failure to comply with all the terms and conditions by failing to attend substance abuse counseling and contempt of court. Bail: $3,500.
— A 46-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday, at 3:16 p.m. in the 100 block of Corbett. Officers made contact with the man while investigating a court order violation. The man had a confirmed warrant out of Reno Justice Court with a bail amount of $500 for allegedly drawing or passing a check without sufficient funds with intent to defraud.
— A 46-year-old Carson City man was arrested Monday at 3:50 p.m. in the 2800 block of Menlo Drive on a warrant. Officers were called to a dispute in the area. The man was contacted and a records check of him confirmed the warrant out of Carson City Justice Court.
Those arrested and facing charges are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
