Rollover accident reported at Combs Canyon; Care Flight dispatched

A vehicle rollover accident was reported in Carson City on Sunday night in which three were ejected and sustained traumatic injuries. The accident was reported at 9:28 p.m. in the Combs Canyon area near Lakeview and Ormsby. Three Care Flight helicopters were dispatched and landed at Western Nevada College.
Two of the injured, a male and female, were reportedly conscious and bleeding from the head. The condition of a third person, a male, was unknown other than he required helicopter transport. All are believed to be in their late teens. Paramedics on scene said three were transported to Renown Medical Center Trauma Unit in Reno. Their conditions as of midnight Monday are unknown.
The vehicle rolled approximately 67 feet, according to Carson City Sheriff's Office deputies on the scene. The Nevada Highway Patrol's Major Accident Investigation Team has been notified of the accident. Drugs and alcohol may have played a factor in the accident.
